LuAnn Jenkins--Leader/Founder

MedTrust founder, LuAnn Jenkins, CPMA, CMRS, CPC, CEMC, CFPC has over 30 years of experience in the medical billing and coding field. Chart reviews, coding seminars, office efficiency, billing audits, and performance measurement are her key areas of expertise. MedTrust provides medical billing services for medical practices throughout Michigan with a focus on neurosurgery, orthopedic and neurology.

She was named “2006 Coder of the Year” by the American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) and is a speaker for AAPC national seminars and has contributed several articles to the AAPC newsletters.

LuAnn served as the President of the Michigan Medical Billers Association (2010-2012) and served on the MMBA board for over eight years.

LuAnn has served as a Practice Partner with the Michigan State Medical Society providing consulting and speaking services for MSMS members since 2004. She also is a member of the Medicare Provider Outreach Advisory Group (POAG), and past member of the Baker College Medical Insurance Advisory Board.
